About Collins Laser Restoration
Collins Laser Restoration is a one-shop operation out of Curryville, running a single 300W pulsed fiber laser and nothing else to distract from it. Robert Collins started the business after seeing too many rust and paint jobs in Albert County go to a sandblaster or a chemical strip when they didn’t need to. We’d rather tell you laser is the wrong tool for your job than take the work and disappoint you — every call starts with an honest answer, not a sales pitch.

Our Services: Rust, Paint, Grease and Soot Gone.
If it's sitting on top of the material, the laser lifts it. Pick the surface below and we'll tell you straight whether laser is the right tool for the job, or whether something else would serve you better.
Rust and Mill Scale
Steel and cast iron taken down to clean, weldable metal without thinning the panel or rounding an edge.
Paint and Powder Coat
Layer by layer if you want it. Stop at the primer, or take it all the way to bare metal.
Grease, Oil and Carbon
Engine parts, molds, tooling and platens cleaned without a solvent bath or a wire wheel.
Weld Oxide and Prep
Stainless cleaned before and after welding, with no acid and no pickling paste to handle.
Soot and Fire Damage
Char pulled off brick, stone and structural timber while the surface texture stays put.
Masonry and Graffiti
Off stone and brick without the ghost outline a pressure washer leaves behind.

Real Numbers, Before You Call
Starting rates for light contamination on a straightforward piece. Heavy build-up, awkward access and on-site work are quoted per job, which is why a photo gets you a real number and a description gets you a guess.
All rates plus 15% HST. $250 minimum charge. GST/HST registered.
